Cleaning the interior

In order for the heat pump to achieve the longest possible lifespan and perform at its maximum, you should clean it regularly and order service when needed. The inner part of air-to-air heat pumps has a fan that draws in air from the room, filters it, heats/(cools) it and sends it out into the room again. Due to dust and particles in the air, the filters will become clogged over time. Then the heat pump works less efficiently, makes more noise, and this can shorten its lifespan.
We recommend cleaning the filters every two weeks. The socket can be either outside or inside. If it does not have its own socket, you must switch off the current course in the fuse box. The filters are located behind the front panel. Be careful when opening it so you don't break anything. See the user manual. Vacuum (with a soft nozzle) or wash the filters in lukewarm water. It may be a good idea to rinse the filters in the shower to remove small particles. Check the user manual to see how to do it. Put the filters back when they have become dry again. You wipe the dust off the front panel itself with a damp cloth.
Remember fine filters and special filters. Several models also have filters that can remove pollen, small particles and neutralize unwanted odours. These often have to be replaced after a certain time. Look in the user manual for your heat pump. We are helpful in obtaining filters that fit your model.
