During the summer, plants and bushes may have been allowed to frolic around the outdoor area. Cut this away and remove leaves and other debris. To achieve maximum energy savings and comfort, the heat pump must be allowed to breathe.
Avoid auto mode Check that the heat pump is set so that it only provides heat .
It can be easy to forget that if you have used the heat pump for cooling during the summer. Never put it in "auto mode"! This is because if you should suddenly "fire" extra with stoves/fireplaces, the heat pump can sense that it is too hot and start cooling.
Clean the filters on the indoor unit. It is recommended to clean the filters approximately every two weeks, throughout the year. (You will gradually learn what the correct interval is in your home.)
If they are full of dust, the heat pump will work poorly and make more noise than necessary. When the pump has to work "harder", the service life of the pump can also be shortened.
