Automatic defrosting

Frost or ice will form on the outdoor part when it is colder than + 5 °C outside. If necessary, the heat pump will run an automatic defrost to remove the ice. The amount of ice and frost on the outdoor area depends on weather conditions

Keep the heat pump free of ice and snow

In some cases, such large amounts of ice can build up that the heat pump is unable to remove this. Then you should put the heat pump in "cooling mode", as long as the outdoor unit's fan is not stuck in the ice. Stop cooling when the ice disappears. If this does not remove the ice, you should switch off the heat pump and contact your dealer.

Do not wash the outdoor area with a high-pressure washer/garden hose

Distance to the ground

Make sure there is a good distance from the outdoor area down to the ground. Be careful when using tools to remove ice on the outdoor area itself. This can lead to damage that is not covered by the warranty
